Research content
It is thought that Cyclophilin has a role in hair regeneration and anagen elongation, however, the mechanism is not clear. By using cyclosporin A which is a ligand for cyclophilin, we elucidate a role of cyclophilin in skin and hair relative cells. Our goal is to show the mechanism of hair regeneration and anagen elongation via cyclophilin.
Research theme

1. Role of cyclophilin in hair regeneration
2. Dermal-epidermal interaction
3. Elucidation of hair regeneration mechanism by 3-dimensional cultivation of hair relative cells
