Research content
Mammalian chitinases have two types of chitinases that degrade chitin and have been reported to be involved in various inflammatory diseases. This study will clarify the function of mammalian chitinases in vivo and lead to the development of therapeutic methods for inflammatory diseases. We are also working with Prof. Atsushi Sato to analyze the effects of human serum albumin-fused lactoferrin on cancer cells and its neuroregenerative effects.
