Research content
We perform:
(1) Preparation of alpha-difluoromethylamino acids as pharmaceutical precursors,
(2) Crystal Engineering of Organofluorine Compounds for (a) Two-dimensional crystallography, (b) Functions of microporous crystals for Nanotechnology, and (c) Protonics based on queer hydrogen bondings,
(3) Development of Electron Transfer Reactions (a) Reductions by Magnesium Metal, (b) New highly polar medium (pseudo ionic liquids, on the basis of Organofluorine Chemistry.

1. Syntheses of Fluorinated Amino Acids and their Common Precursors.
2. Crystal Engineering of Organofluorine Compounds.
