Research content
Materials green process laboratory is an interdisciplinary laboratory, conducting a broadly based research program on the development and understanding of plastic deformation process of materials. To realize a sustainable society through energy saving, resource conservation, recycling needs, design and development of a plastic deformation process for manufacturing high performance and multi-functional materials are required. Through a new plastic deformation process, it achieves grain refinement and structure randomization of materials, dramatically improving mechanical and physical properties. The key words of the current research subjects are “torsion and back-torsion working”, ”equal-channel angular pressing”, ”high pressure torsion working”

Research theme

1. Development of multi-functional and high performance plastic deformation process with torsion
2. Threading of ultra-lightweight, high-strength screw through preliminary torsion and back-torsion working
3. High precision and multi-directional design of ultralight magnesium-lithium alloy
